Collection: Lee Lee La Cubana

"Blessed and Highly Favored," is a limited line by Ashley Miah, known as Lee Lee La Cubana, in partnership with ComfiArt through the 2024 Design and Muse program. This collection is more than just art; it's a celebration of spiritual wellness and self-love, inviting you to embrace your inner Empress and honor your crown. At the heart of this collection is the artwork titled "Blessed and Highly Favored," depicting a powerful woman holding her crown, symbolizing her regal status and inner strength. The golden yellow tones, inspired by the Empress card in astrological tarot and Oshun in Santeria, radiate happiness, glory, and wisdom, inviting you to bask in your own light.

"Blessed and Highly Favored" is a title that culturally references a common saying in urban communities as a nod to the artist's cultural upbringing and honoring the teaching of the reminder that even in oppression and poverty we carry internal wealth and faith within us that still makes us abundant. Other elements within the print add a nod to accompanied cultural sayings such as "Sky's the Limit" with the birds flying over the crown, and "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" with bees over the eyeline (perception). The phrase carries into the tote bag with a centered diamond, the artist's signature and reminder of internal wealth as diamonds are made under pressure, also printed on the back of the Empress and Emperor shirts. The definitions of each title include nods to both spiritual and urban cultural words and phrases to uplift the body that wears it. Accompanying these items is a denim bucket hat with "Abundant Gangsta", not only a nod to hip hop culture but a reminder that choosing yourself over environmental factors will attract abundance in the highest forms of self respect.

With "Blessed and Highly Favored," Ashley Miah and ComfiArt invite you to embrace your inner Empress, honor your crown, and remember that true wealth comes from within.
