ComfiArt is taking you to the ComfiZone, our blog series where our Chief Executive Officer interviews extraordinary creatives about their life as a creator and beyond. Next up to the canvas is Xavier Perry, check out his story.

CA: Hello Xavier, so glad that you took some time with us to talk in the ComfiZone with ComfiArt. Tell me a little about yourself.

XP: Hi, I'm Xavier Perry, Atlanta’s leading visual artist, an Atlanta native as well as a SCAD Alumni. I've worked on projects for several acclaimed organizations such as the Atlanta Braves, Xfinity, Red Bull, Guinness World Records, Atlanta Inspiration Station Praise 102.5 and many more. My signature design is the Love Bomb. The Love Bomb symbolizes the rippling effect of spreading love in communities to counter all division and hate in the world. The design has brought the citizens of Atlanta together and encouraged them to love one another.

CA: What food, drink, song inspires you?

XP:  Most mornings, I’ll grab a sweet on the go snack like Little Debbies, Orange juice, and listen to Al Green for inspiration.

CA: Is the artistic life lonely? what do you do to counteract it?

XP: The artistic life can be lonely, but I surround myself with people who support me to counteract it.

CA: what superpower would you have and why?

XP: If I possessed a superpower it would be flight because to me it symbolizes freedom.

CA: Professionally, what's your goal?

XP: My personal goals are to work with corporate companies, and spread positivity on bigger platforms.

CA: What is art to you?

XP: Art allows me to compose what I can’t verbally say.

CA: Should art be funded?

XP: Art should be funded because it allows freedom of expression which releases stress.

CA: Name two artist you’d like to collaborate with.

XP: Pharrell Williams and Andre 3000 are two artists I would like to collaborate with because they understand art has no limitations.

CA: What Object or tool you use the most that you can't live without?

XP: My laptop is a tool I can’t live without because the world is transforming into a digital lifestyle.

CA: What is your dream project?

XP: My dream project would be any project collating with Pharrell Williams or Andre 3000.

CA: Thank you again for share your story with In the ComfiZone. You can find Xavier Perry on Instagram @xavierperryart
